Last week, we reported that Meghan Markle had officially cut ties with her ex best friend Jessica Mulroney after the Canadian found herself embroiled in a “white privilege” scandal that left the royal “mortified.” Now, however, this may have come back to bite Meghan, as Mulroney is reportedly being targeted by publishers who want her to pen an explosive tell-all about her friendship with the royal.

“Miss Mulroney is being hotly pursued by a clutch of publishers keen to get her side of the story on their 10-year friendship, which started out when they met during the Duchess’ then-stint on the cable TV show ‘Suits,’” royal correspondent Neal Sean told Fox News.

“If Jessica was willing to sign a book deal, this would be worth a huge advance and could easily swing her back into public favor,” he added. “She now remains an outcast from the duchess’ inner circle, which appears to be the case. She was at the beating heart of Meghan’s rise to the top and right there at the very center of the biggest wedding of the decade. It would make a fascinating read.”

Despite this what Sean said, this comes one day after Mulroney’s husband Ben took to Twitter to claim that reports that his wife was considering writing a tell-all about Meghan were “FALSE.”

Mulroney herself had previously told Harper’s Bazaar in May of last year that she would never discuss her relationship with Meghan publicly.

“Listen, every person has to have a bit of privacy in their life,” she said at the time. “There are certain things I hold very dear and secret. There are things I’ll never talk about for sure. My life is an open book, but there’s always a few secret pages in the back that nobody will be able to read.”

However, Mulroney might be changing her tune now, as a source told Sean that she has not received the kind of support she was expecting from Meghan in the midst of this scandal.

“Since the unfortunate incident of which, Jessica had hoped to receive some support in the way of a text or public outing, she has received nothing from Meghan and no word moving forward,” the source allegedly told Sean.

This comes after a source told Us Weekly that Meghan was livid that Mulroney brought up her name in her public apology to black social media user Sasha Exeter, who accused the stylist of threatening to use her “white privilege” to sue her and destroy her career.

“Meghan could not get over that Jessica brought up [their] relationship when she commented about her ‘closest friend’ in the discourse with Sasha,” the source said. “That was hugely offensive to Meghan and the deciding factor for her. Meghan considers the relationship to be done.”
