The “Glee” star went missing and was presumed drowned after she and her little 4-year-old-boy rented a boat and went out on Lake Piru in California.
Hours after renting the pontoon boat, the little boy was discovered sleeping alone on the boat.
When asked where his mom was, he said that she went into the water and never came back.

Authorities have been scouring the lake, which is known to have “whirlpool” spots that can drag people underwater, due to large drains located in the bottom of the damned-up lake.
Today, TMZ has confirmed through their sources in law enforcement that a body was recovered and it is Naya Rivera.
Naya Rivera’s body has been recovered from Lake Piru … TMZ has learned.
Ventura County officials said Monday that a body had been found at the lake, but didn’t immediately make clear it was Naya. Our law enforcement sources have confirmed though … we’re told it is, in fact, her. A press conference sharing the news publicly is forthcoming.
As we reported … Naya and her 4-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, were swimming in Lake Piru when something terrible happened Wednesday. Josey got back in the boat and when authorities arrived for a check, he told them he and his mom were swimming and he didn’t know what happened to her.
Prayers to her family, and that sweet little boy, who lost his mommy.
