Jennifer Eckhart is accusing former Fox News host Ed Henry of rape.
This is a very serious allegation and could end up with Henry facing prison time, so it’s not to be taken lightly.
But before everyone gets too carried away, we need to remember something…

The #MeToo movement has tarnished real victims of sexual assault and rape; as the movement has been used by so many women as an “attack instrument” against men they don’t like or for political reasons.
So, it’s only understandable that people are leery of accusations post “Me Too,” since the movement turned into an absolute sham.
With that said, Jennifer Eckhart is the reason that Fox News’ Ed Henery was recently fired and her lawyer has just released some text messages from Mr. Henry to Ms. Eckhart, and on the surface, they do look very damning.
However, it’s fair to note that there is only really one side of the conversation below. I think we’d need to see more of her comments and responses in order to get the actual context of the text messages.

Explicit text messages Fox News anchor Ed Henry allegedly sent to an employee who accused him of raping her have been laid bare in a bombshell lawsuit.
Former Fox Business producer Jennifer Eckhart claims that Henry – who was fired from the network on July 1 after an unnamed employee accused him of sexual misconduct – handcuffed her and raped her in a hotel room in 2017 after trying to coerce her into a sexual relationship.
The complaint includes a string of WhatsApp messages Henry, 49, allegedly sent to Eckhart in which he calls her his ‘little w***e’ and refers to their relationship in disturbingly graphic terms.

So, Ed Henry is claiming that the two of them had a consensual sexual relationship that was based on a mutual “S&M” type vibe.
We’ll see how this plays out if that’s the case, and Mr. Henry can back up his claims, then this may be another case of someone abusing the #MeToo movement for PR, or revenge.
And if that is the case, the only losers are men and real victims of sexual assault.
