The debates over wearing face masks have been at an all-time high in recent weeks as the coronavirus pandemic continues. With tensions soaring over mask use, an incident just happened in Roseville, California that has brought the craziness to a whole new level.

A 911 dispatch call obtained by KOVR-TV is going viral this week, and it features the dispatcher informing police that three customers at the Roseville Verizon store had been told to either put on masks or leave. They refused this order, with one woman in particular getting especially testy about it.

The dispatcher could be heard saying that the woman was “refusing to leave, not wearing a mask.”

“They’ve asked several times, and she refuses,” the dispatcher continued.

Then things took a weird turn.

The unidentified woman proceeded to pull down her pants and urinate on the floor in protest of the mask order.

“They’re calling back and advising that that female is pulling down her pants and is now urinating inside the business,” the dispatcher said.

Officers with the Roseville Police Department rushed to the scene and arrested the woman after finding several stolen items from the local Dick’s Sporting Goods in her car. Customers on the scene offered their takes on what the woman had done.

“Are you kidding me? That’s terrible,” one woman said. “That’s like an animal. That’s what my dog would do.”

“That’s kind of ridiculous. I mean, there’s bathrooms all over the place,” added another customer, with a third writing, “That’s totally inappropriate, we’re not animals. I’m very disappointed that we, as a society, choose to have disunity and let this coronavirus divide us.”

A Verizon spokeswoman has since claimed that the incident was about more than just the store’s mask policy, but would not elaborate any further on what exactly she meant by this. This was definitely a day that nobody in that Verizon store will be forgetting anytime soon!
