Well, these three robbers were not the brightest bulbs in the box, that’s for darn tootin’.

So, let me set this up for you…because it’s a crazy story.

Apparently, this Florida homeowner shared pics of his extensive gun collection online. That post caught the attention of these three very violent (and dumb) criminals who decided, after seeing all the guns that they were going to rob the homeowner.

I mean, I can already see a lot of flaws with this plan…but anyway back to the story…the night of the robbery is upon us and the homeowner is relaxing in his house playing video games when all of a sudden he hears a window break.

He jumps up and grabs a gun (from that extensive collection) and takes off through his house to see what’s going on.

Now, without giving away all the juicy details that you’ll read below, he comes across the three robbers…and what I can tell you right now is that two are dead and one is in the hospital.

From Bizpacreview

Early Friday morning, the unnamed homeowner killed two criminals after three black suspects reportedly attempted to break into his home.

“According to Sheriff Chris Nocco [of the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office], the homeowner was playing video games alone when he heard glass shatter in the back of his house,” local station WOFL reported Saturday.

“Deputies said the homeowner grabbed a gun and saw the first suspect down a long hallway wearing a dark ski mask and dark clothing and pointing a gun at him. The homeowner fired and the suspect went down.”

The unnamed homeowner then observed a second suspect pointing his gun at him, so he fired again.

“At some point, a suspect fired his gun, Nocco said. When the second suspect went down, the victim saw a third suspect down the hallway, so he fired again and the suspect fell,” WOFL’s report continued

It was at this point — and not a moment sooner, luckily for him — that his gun jammed, so he hurried off to grab another one. Talk about being strapped.

“When he returned to the hallway, he noticed that the third suspect was gone. That’s when he got a phone call from a neighbor who said he was holding the third suspect outside at gunpoint to keep him from getting away,” WOFL reported.

After deputies reportedly arrived sometime before 1:00 am, the first two suspects, Luis Casado and Khyle Durham, were pronounced dead.

If the one robber who’s still alive makes it, he’ll be facing “second-degree murder charges” for the death of his two comrades. Needless to say, he probably won’t be seeing the “free” light of day ever again.

Once again the “good guy” with a gun wins.

And thankfully since he’s in Florida, he won’t be facing any charges.
