On Tuesday, Vice President Mike Pence penned an OP-ED firmly declaring there would be no “second wave” of COVID-19.

He also slammed the media for spreading fear about the coronavirus. In his article, he gave thanks to the increase in testing, treatments, vaccine trials, medical supplies, and Pres. Trump’s leadership, claiming America is “winning the fight against the invisible enemy.”

Pence said that social distancing succeeded in flattening the curve, and cited how more than half of the states are either seeing their number of cases remain stable or decline, many outbreaks are being contained, and the nation’s public health system is in better shape than it was at the start of the pandemic.

“The media has tried to scare the American people every step of the way, and these grim predictions of a second wave are no different. We’ve slowed the spread, we’ve cared for the most vulnerable, we’ve saved lives, and we’ve created a solid foundation for whatever challenges we may face in the future.”

Liberals will strongly disagree; they’re counting on this to turn all of America against President Trump by November. This entire overreaction and the lockdown were ALL political.

Anyways, no one is listening. The best thing to do is allow whoever wants to get sick to go ahead and jump in the viral current and see if comes out alive on the other side.

Those that claim a second wave will be devastating have no evidence to support their assertions. The fact is the first wave was nothing close to their dire predictions. Its best just to fully open and go back to normal, let the virus run its course. It’s trivial.
