Most politicians are scumbags who use tragedies to their advantage…but it seems like Dems really have cornered the market on this.

They can never let a good tragedy, drama, or disaster go to waste and now we have the proof.

During a recent public event in the Bronx, city officials and state elected officials gathered to discuss the violence and riots happening in New York City.

This was the first time New York Rep. Elliot Engel who represents Bronx/Westchester had been back to his district since the COVID crisis. It’s been months since his constituents have seen him.

Publically Rep. Engel said it’s been “hard” dealing with COVID and George Floyd killing and he understands why there have been protests.

However, it’s what he said on a “hot mic” that got him in real trouble.

Rep. Engel can be heard asking Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz if he can have a turn at speaking. He then follows that comment up by stating, “If I didn’t have a primary I wouldn’t care.”

Typical Democrat.

He wouldn’t care about saying anything if he didn’t have a primary to try and win.

How sincere, right?

It’s a shame that Democrat voters can’t see through this act that Dems put on.

As Rep. Engel proves, these tragedies are all about PR and media points for these phony charlatans.
