New reports are coming in that Prince Harry is having some serious regrets about leaving the British royal family earlier this year, as he is being “secretly tortured” with guilt over not being with his family amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

In their new book “Royals At War: The Inside Story of Harry and Meghan’s Shocking Split With the House of Windsor,” royal experts Andy Tillett and Dylan Howard claimed that Harry has been having a hard time adjusting to his new life in Los Angeles, California.

“On top of it all, he’s got cabin fever,” they said, according to The Sun. “It was far from an ideal situation. Harry’s gone from feeling excited about the move to feeling secretly tortured.”

Things got even worse for Harry when his 71 year-old father Prince Charles tested positive for COVID-19 back in April. Since then, it has been “hit(ting) home for him that Charles and the Queen aren’t going to be around forever.”

Another insider said that Harry’s wife Meghan Markle has been doing everything that she can to support him through this difficult time.

“She’s assuring [Harry] that once things go back to normal, he’ll love their new life in LA,” the source explained. “Meghan wants to take him hiking and talks about the local polo club and how much he’ll love surfing.”

Others, however, have questioned Meghan’s motives, as it seems awfully convenient for her that they are now living in her hometown, where she spent years trying to make it as an actress prior to her marriage.

“Meghan has always been fascinated with the creation of a ‘brand,'” one source said. “I do not believe she married Harry with that solely in mind, but it was a determining factor.”

After announcing that they would be stepping down as senior royals earlier this year, Harry and Meghan moved to Canada briefly with their 1 year-old son Archie before they relocated to L.A. There, the couple has been living in the $18 million Beverly Hills mansion of Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry while they look for a home of their own in the area, indicating that they plan to stay there for quite some time.
