It’s been a difficult year for the royal family, as rumors have swirled that Prince William and Prince Harry have had a falling out after the latter stepped down as a senior member of the British royal family. Thankfully, it now seems that their relationship has gotten back on track, as an insider is saying that the two brothers have been keeping in touch from their respective parts of the world through regular Zoom calls.

The source said that William has made a habit of calling Harry after his family has had dinner and his three young children have gone to bed. The timing works out, as the calls usually come around Harry’s lunchtime where he is staying in Los Angeles, California.

“William finds Zoom a good, informal way of keeping in touch, and some would say ‘tabs’, on his younger brother,” the insider told Fabulous Digital. “There have been several zoom calls. It’s easy to set up and involves no awkward scheduling.

“After the children have gone to bed and supper with Kate. It has been only William and Harry. It is around lunchtime in LA,” the source added. “These calls are made from Anmer’s private sitting room. It’s not the room that Kate and William use for their public zoom sessions.”

Another friend close to the brothers confirmed that these calls have indeed been happening.

“William is very anxious to keep the calls low key and casual,” the friend said. “Just two brothers have a chat. No-one else is involved. It takes the pressure off. There is nothing formal about these zoom sessions. It’s about keeping in touch that’s important. Harry has spoken on Zoom to the Queen as well.”

The brothers have each become good at using Zoom for their respective projects amidst the lockdown for the coronavirus pandemic. William and his wife Kate Middleton in particular have been praised for the way they have stepped up during this difficult time.

‘William comes over well on zoom. Some people just don’t like looking at themselves on screen,” another source said. “But William looks calm and collected and actually listens to what’s being said to him.”

News of William and Harry will come as good news to royal fans everywhere, as a source had previously told People magazine that the brothers’ relationship was “forever changed” following the announcement of Megxit.

“They won’t get back to the way they were,” the insider claimed. “Harry is looking straight ahead at his future with his family.”

Perhaps the COVID-19 pandemic have caused both brothers to reassess what’s really important in life, and to make maintaining a relationship with one another a priority. Life is too short to hold a grudge, especially when it comes to family, and this may be a lesson that William and Harry each learned firsthand this year.
