Amazon is imposing a one-year moratorium on police use of its facial recognition technology, the company announced Wednesday. It seems many U.S. firms and institutions, including the Army, NASCAR, the NFL, cities, states, colleges, and now Amazon have been effectively blackmailed by Black Lives Matter, rioters, domestic terrorists and anyone else who can push the masochism button on the spineless worms who pass for the American elite.

They cave to these lawless animals at a time when George Soros and his Open Society Foundation is suspected by many in U.S. intel circles of being behind the funding, training, and prepositioning of materials for violent rioters in over a dozen major U.S. cities last week. This will only encourage Soros and his terrorist allies to step up their obvious plan to destabilize this society leading up to the election (they pray) of Joe Biden to the presidency. At that point they will have close to free reign over most of the executive branch of the U.S. government.

In a contralogical response to these developments and also to the several days of shootings, looting, arson, and vandalism by rioters, who does Amazon decide needs to be punished and taught a lesson? The very police departments that were the only factors that stood between the murderous anarchy of Antifa and the American people. Such is the cowardice, the lack of ethics, the sheer mind-numbing crawling to Canossa of Amazon and other firms in regards to the rioters—it is amazing Jeff Bezos does clear out and let George Soros take over his company.

Amazon has also surrendered to internal pressure. In October 2018, dozens of Amazon employees sent a letter to CEO Jeff Bezos protesting the firm’s facial recognition software. Bezos, however, said at the time that Amazon would continue to support the U.S. military and law enforcement. He has apparently changed his mind and now supports those thugs and firebugs who now target working class neighborhoods but who one day may come for him. His fear-induced timidity toward Soros and his allies recalls the slogan of the 2016 presidential campaign of mythical Lovecraftian ancient God/monster Cthulhu, whose motto promised supporters, “He will eat you last.”

Amazon sputtered out on Thursday, careful to adjust their adult diapers to the correct level to compensate for the extreme dread that Antifa would not agree with them: “We hope this one-year moratorium might give Congress enough time to implement appropriate rules, and we stand ready to help if requested.” Their action will deprive police departments of a valuable tool at the same time Amazon broadcasts to the entire world that the police, and thus the public, are now more vulnerable to the depredations of the mob.

Evan Greer, a member of the toddler support group “Fight for the Future” has this to say on the issue: “The reality is that facial recognition technology is too dangerous to be used at all. Like nuclear or biological weapons, it poses such a profound threat to the future of humanity that it should be banned outright. Lawmakers need to stop pandering to Big Tech companies and corrupt law enforcement agencies and do their jobs.”

Let’s see, in one statement a proponent of the Amazon action forgets that, aside from his childish view of history, nuclear weapons have kept the peace for over seventy years and the notion that the weapons themselves pose an inherent threat went out of style in sane circles with mood rings and pet rocks. He also proposes banning a weapons system, as if it could somehow be disinvented. He finishes with throwing in a cheap shot at cops. Such is the mature judgement Amazon and Mr. Greer bring to this question.
