Christopher Hopkins has earned himself countless fans on his YouTube channel, where he goes by the name “The Makeover Guy,” and his favorite thing to do is give women over the age of 45 a new lease on life by giving them the makeovers of their dreams. That’s why 60 year-old Shirley Lynch decided to travel all the way from her home in Monetello, Wisconsin to his salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota just to have a session with him!
Like many of us, Shirley had let herself go a bit physically over the years as life got busier, so for her sixtieth birthday, she decided to give herself the present of a brand new look.
“I want to look sexy, I feel like I am, some people look at me like I am,” she explained. “But I don’t feel like I look like I am.”
Shirley put herself completely in Christopher’s hands, telling him to do whatever he thought was best. Luckily for her, he knew exactly what to do with her!
By the time Christopher was done with Shirley, she looked decades younger, and she could not believe her eyes when she saw herself.
“I like my hair, my makeup…I’m all ready to go out!” Shirley said afterwards, later adding, “I feel sexy, like I wanted to. Oh my god…that doesn’t look like me!”
“I’m not going to be invisible anymore,” Shirley concluded, before quipping, “Just wait until I get out to the casino!”
Social media users agreed that this was one of Christopher’s most incredible makeovers yet.
“Oh my God! You are amazing. She looks young, vibrant, sexy, pretty. You bring out the beauty in everyone you work on. She looks 40 not 60,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “This is an excellent makeover. I hope each client reads the comments for their videos. She looks like an amazing 48 year old.”
“She is so happy and young in spirit,” a third user wrote. “Her personality has a bounce and she really looks great.”
Christopher has shown once again that an external makeover can change who person is internally for the better as well. Check out the makeover for yourself below!
