Two DC political sources told LifeZette late last week that the ongoing investigation by U S. Attorney for Connecticut John Durham connected to 2016 Democrat and government hijinks against the Trump campaign may actually indict former Director of the FBI James Comey and former CIA Director James Clapper on charges stemming from illegal and corrupt actions against Trump and his campaign for president.

This info was verified by more than one source. The timeline estimates as early as the Fourth of July, as late as Labor Day, for the public revelation of the charges against the two Jims. The political and constitutional consequences could be tremendous.

It would validate many conservative activists who have been predicting a cataclysmic downfall and exposure of the DC liberal establishment for years. Previously they have been seen as a modern day political equivalent of the ethos of the 19th century 7th Day Adventists. If this is true, inadvertently or not, they could be seen as prescient.

Happening in the middle of an election year and given that both served with Joe Biden when he was Obama’s vice president, Biden would have two bad options. He could throw his former colleagues under a bus or he could try to defend them and be linked to the indictment. He may also have to explain his role in the affair and could also be called as a witness in the eventual trial.

All of that, perhaps happening before the Democratic Convention in Milwaukee in August, could politically wound Biden to the point a rebellion could erupt amongst the delegates and he could lose the nomination after several ballots. Then the convention would become a freakish circus of bloodthirsty ambition and backroom horse trading. In other words, more fun for political types than watching Chuck Todd get ravished by midgets at a 70s key party.

And if you think the political acrimony in this country is at unprecedented levels, our current battles would seem like a kindergarten picnic compared to the pure unfiltered invective that would spew forth from the progs if Durham indicts these men, as they were appointed to high positions in government by the ersatz messiah of the progworld.

The precedent established would also be historic. Richard Helms or James Colby, former CIA chiefs engaged in shenanigans, weren’t indicted. Many FBI and CIA directors have probably committed indictable criminal offenses. Hoover broke the law so much, to use only a relatively modern example, that he could keep a grand jury busy for a decade going over his law breaking.

As for the guilt by association of the already disgraced 44th president, the Birkenstocks would now be on the other foot. He and his numerous allies in entertainment, media, academia, and in every nook and cranny of the liberal world would be screaming to high heaven (that is, the few that believe in God) about their two leaders being targeted for a witch hunt by an overzealous prosecutor. Oh, the perfectly amusing irony.

These possible prosecutions of Comey and Clapper would be the icing on the collusion hoax cake and confirm that the conspiracy to remove a candidate, then a duly elected president, permeated the DC culture under Barack Obama.

It would be a victory of truth and justice. If it happens. The next sixty to 90 days will likely tell the tale.
