It’s getting harder and harder to recognize America.
The Coronavirus really did a number on a lot of people.
In the early days, when experts were predicting 5.2 million dead Americans, the media really hyped up their panic and fear game plan and scared the life out of Americans.
Look, it’s one thing to be careful, cautious, and responsible when dealing with a virus – it’s quite another to panic, get hysterical, and cower in fear – and expect – no “demand” others do the same.
We’ve seen what the media can still do to people. Early on, I was someone who didn’t believe the 5.2 million death models or the 200K death models. I had people on both sides of the political aisle accuse me of not taking Coronavirus seriously and told me I wanted “people to die.” Ridiculous.
We’ve turned into a crazy bunch of scared nutjobs over this.
Yes, it’s serious. Yes, we must be careful. Yes, it can be deadly, but if you’re healthy, you’ll likely be fine. Nearly 90 percent of people who catch COVID-19 have little to no symptoms. But if you listened to the media, you’d think if you caught it, you’d be on a ventilator within an hour.
The hype and hysteria have led to state government overreach and power grabs. I live in Michigan, one of the harshest “lockdown” states in the union. Most of the state’s cases are located in Wayne County – the bulk in Detroit. I am from Detroit, I know what Detroit is like. It’s been run into the ground forgotten and used and abused by liberal politicians for decades, so it doesn’t surprise me that the bulk of the sickness is ravaging poor folks. It sickens me, to be honest. But this is how Detroit has always been treated by liberals.
I now live hours and hours and hours away from Detroit – my county has had ONE case of coronavirus, yet my town is locked down as if it’s the same as Detroit and as a result, the businesses in my town are dying – many for good.
This makes no sense.

California is another harsh lockdown case. As soon as people came out of lockdown and hit the beaches to get sunshine and fresh air, Governor Gavin Newsom closed them down.
And to make matters even more creepy and worse, he’s now patrolling them with doom and gloom black helicopters blasting dystopian messages to “GO HOME” and “STAY INDOORS.”
No.
Fresh air and sunshine and heat and humidity is GOOD for you. Period.

These politicians want you to spend your days inside, except when it’s time to go to a germ-infested grocery store. It’s almost as if they want us to be sick and disconnected.
This isn’t the America I know. What the hell have we allowed ourselves to become and can we ever get back to normal?
