That’s what a group of hippies are now saying after they’ve been trapped in “Music Festival” hell since March 15th.

The Tribal Gathering Festival in Panama was placed under quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic on March 15th. There are still 40 people trapped on site, in a jungle by a beach that’s no longer paradise as they bicker over food and territory. On April 21st the flight ban in the country was extended to May 22nd, meaning the festival-goers will be stranded for at least another month. This is now the last festival on earth.
VICE reports that the festival was “designed to be a temporary paradise where people from western cities could learn from indigenous communities about how to rebalance society and live in symbiosis with the earth.”
“Don’t try to steal our food, I’ll get really upset with you,” one organizer tells the rest of the crowd. “And remember where you are, you’re in my fucking manor,” he adds.
“While the situaton is terrible, it has also become extremely comical,” reports the District Herald. “The hippies are now being forced to live in their theoretical utopia — and they aren’t having the amazing time they imagined.”

I don’t know what’s worse – being quarantined with 40 smelly hippies or just taking your chances with Coronavirus?
Might be a toss-up!
Either way, good that these people realize now that “socialist kumbaya” living sounds great in theory, but doesn’t work out so well in reality.
