I and my radio co-hosts were just speaking about this a few minutes ago, and now we learn Rep. Nancy Pelosi is going to submit a $3 trillion coronavirus aid package to the House for their approval on Friday.
The United States government has already spent close to $3 trillion with Phase 1-3, and now this? When are the American people going to get angry? This is ridiculous.

Pres. Trump and Senate Republicans are opposed to this Democratic proposal. There hasn’t been enough time since the $2 trillion CARES Act was passed, and 20 million Americans still don’t have that money yet, and now they want to pass more legislation for $3 trillion?
Pelosi wants to bankrupt the country in the hope of winning big in the upcoming election. Her actions and intentions are not honorable, nor are they in concern for the citizens. It’s all about her and always has been.
[DailyMail] The Heroes Act provides nearly $1 trillion for states, cities and tribal governments to avert layoffs and another $200 billion in ‘hazard pay’ for essential workers, according a summary. It will offer $1,200 direct cash aid to individuals, up to $6,000 per household. There is $75 billion more for virus testing.
A vote is expected Friday.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Tuesday it appears the sweeping Democratic-led bill ‘will be ready’ to call lawmakers back to Washington for the vote.
‘This is an unprecedented time in our history,’ Hoyer said about the virus outbreak and economic shutdown. He said Congress needs to act in ‘unprecedented ways.’
But the legislation is heading straight into a Senate roadblock. Senate Republicans are not planning to vote on any new relief until June, after a Memorial Day recess.
Sen. Chuck Schumer warned that if Pres. Trump and Republicans “slow walk” more aid, they will be repeating President Herbert Hoover’s “tepid” response to the Great Depression.
Maybe Schumer should get an education, late in life does not mean one cannot learn: Adult education is the thing for him since he knows nothing about Hoover, nor the Great Depression, nor exactly how government can (and can’t) dictate the economic circumstances of a nation.

Hoover did not give a “tepid” response, that is a great myth of history, one that was lapped up by the left and pushed in schools, but is nonsense. Hoover was a big government fan; he differed from Roosevelt mostly in style, not substance. Roosevelt’s approach built on things Hoover already had in the pipeline, and they still didn’t get the country out of the Depression; things were just as bad after eight years of Roosevelt’s policies as they were when he took office — is that what Schumer and Pelosi have in mind?
“You can expect everything to stay the same, you’ll just be in debt three trillion dollars more, how does that sound? Good, right?” — that seems to be the Schumer concept and Pelosi who is puddle deep, but it would be nice if those waters would just stay still. Sometimes doing nothing is precisely the thing that needs doing (or in this case, not doing).
