Los Angeles lawmakers have made it official. For the next three months, their coronavirus stay-at-home lockdown will remain in effect.
I am not calling for violence but prepare to see riots and protests. This order is not realistic. Take away the salaries of all government employees, including politicians, and you will see this pandemic come to a close quickly.
It’s true California is becoming a welfare state. I hope the president turns down the governor’s request for money because we are for sure going to go into bankruptcy with the idiots we have running our state, counties, and cities.

After November 2nd, all will be well, though. I just wish every politician we have in California that is left-leaning would be replaced in November. Then there might be hope for the state. Businesses have left, and more will leave. But elected officials don’t care.
The worst part is that it is all by design.
Breaking: Los Angeles County’s stay-at-home orders will “with all certainty” be extended for the next three months, Los Angeles County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer acknowledged during a Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday https://t.co/jswRcZ5FkS

Los Angeles extended their stay at home orders 3 more months. It’s down right cruel. How are people supposed to feed their families?? Not everyone has savings!

But without widely available testing for the coronavirus or rapid home kits, that would allow people to test themselves daily. No one is going to test themselves daily. This is so dumb. Estimates are that 60% of the population will get this, and reportedly, 30% of us have already had it.
[LA Times] Although county health officer Dr. Muntu Davis has not issued an official extension, Ferrer said that timeline would shorten only if there was a “dramatic change to the virus and tools at hand.”
“Our hope is that by using the data, we’d be able to slowly lift restrictions over the next three months,” she said. But without widely available testing for the coronavirus or rapid home kits that would allow people to test themselves daily, it seems unlikely that the social distancing directives and stay-at-home orders would be completely eased.
Neither Ferrer nor county health officials were immediately available to directly offer additional details. However, the county has already started to ease some restrictions and reopen the local economy under a five-step plan.

“Additional restrictions may be lifted later this week to allow for reopening additional retailers for curbside pickup, select manufacturers, and additional recreational facilities,” the county said in a statement Tuesday. “Until the final stage five is reached, Health Officer Orders and directives will continue to ensure the slow of spread of COVID-19 to prevent an overwhelming surge of COVID-19 cases at healthcare facilities.”
Ferrer’s comments came shortly before Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that he was modifying the state’s stay-at-home orders to allow individual counties to approve the reopening of malls for curbside pickup service only. The order also allows for the reopening of some offices if teleworking is not feasible.
