What is happening in this country, thanks to a virus with over a 99% survival rate, is disgusting.
We’re watching as a Chinese virus turns America into a police state where American workers are trampled by overreaching local officials who are drunk on power and fueled by a liberal communist agenda.
It’s sickening and unconstitutional and the fact that we’ve gotten to this place in a short two-month time-span should scare the hell out of every single person in this country.
Barbers and hairdressers are being fined, jailed, and having their licenses revoked. In some cases, Child Protective Services are being called on these American workers who are just trying their best to survive.
And just when you think it can’t get any worse, a story like this one pops up and makes you question everything you believed in about your country and your so-called “freedoms.”
Daniel Hume is a decorated United States Marine who is part owner of a family-run beach gift shop in New Jersey.
Up until now, Mr. Hume and his Father Larry Hume have both complied with the lockdown orders, but like many American business owners, they’re at a crossroads now, where they either open their shop doors to save the family business and their loved ones or risk losing everything.
The Hume men decided to fight for their family and the business, and now this vet who served his country with honor and who protected our freedoms and his wonderful father are under the threat of arrest for it.
Daniel Hume is a decorated United States Marine, who served for 5 1/2 years and put his life on the line in service to country.
It is outrageous that he would receive a threat of arrest for operating a store which clearly provides many essentials.
Larry Hume offered “to provide invoices as well as letting the young Police Officer to look around shop.”
“They only sent one young Officer, (who could have been my son); they never gave The Lower Township Business person of 2019 (Hume) the courtesy of even a visit from a Sergeant at the very least,” said Larry Hume.
“So as we have finished all sanitary, I upgraded, installed plexiglass professionally throughout every area; even upgraded our restroom sanitation program to that of a school or hospital.”
“We already have the cleanest public restrooms, serving hundreds of thousands of visitors to our area every year. People are now relieving theirselves all over our property out of human need and desperation and can’t wait. We decided we MUST reopen, said Larry Hume.
The time has come for every decent, freedom-loving American stand shoulder to shoulder with these small business owners – they are the backbone of this nation and they need us now.
Don’t sit back and think it will all work its self out – you need to be loud and let your local officials know that you will not stand for this overreach. Get involved in your local communities and local politics in any way you can – we must make sure that this never happens again. Contact your local police and sheriffs and tell them you support the Constitution, not this communist tyrannical overreach. Let your voices be heard loud and clear.
We the people hold all the power when we come together as one.
Mr. Hume risked life and limb to fight for our freedom – standing up and speaking out for him and his father is the very least we can do to repay his sacrifice.
