The left is living up to their corrupt motives: “never waste a good crisis” to exercise their crazy and intention to cripple this country, push their socialist agenda, waste tax dollars, and put more people on the government teat.
They hate this country and the Constitution, and Governor Gavin Newsom is a great example of a power-drunk radical leftist, look at his proposed law requiring ammo restrictions. Anyone who supports this should be shipped to Canada or Venezuela — oh, better yet, send them China.
Why are Democrats so uninformed and lack critical thinking? Is having a mind about the same intelligence of a parrot a requirement to be dem? Florida’s approach was so much better. The Republican Governor worked with Democrat and Republican Mayors and allowed them to open and close depending on what was happening on the ground. California’s Democrat Governor is a power-mad tyrant.
[Fox News] As unrest continues to mount over stay-at-home orders amid the coronavirus pandemic, some counties and towns are taking matters into their own hands by bucking their governors’ edicts and reopening segments of their economies.
In California, where Gov. Gavin Newsom has faced protests from Huntington Beach to Sacramento over his statewide restrictions on nonessential businesses and outdoor activities, three counties in the northern part of the state are defying the orders and opening up.

Modoc County – a rural, conservative area near California’s border with Oregon – was the first to defy Newsom’s restrictions by announcing that it would allow bars, restaurants and churches to reopen last Friday. The small community of about 9,600 people has so far reported zero cases of COVID-19.
Officials in Modoc County argue that they are not outright flouting Newsom’s orders, but instead are working with Sacramento and have even submitted a plan to the state public health officer.
Modoc County Sherriff Tex Dowdy said residents must still adhere to social distancing guidelines, avoid mass gatherings and stay home if they feel sick. He added that the county’s Emergency Operations Center will remain open and that county officials will continue to monitor the coronavirus pandemic.

Everyone mitigates hazards daily while navigating life. This situation is no different. We know the facts about who’s at risk and the modalities of spreading it, so let’s just act accordingly like adults. When local economies say the cure can’t be worse than the disease, you can’t have some numbskull politician retort with “the disease is death,” when that’s patently untrue for the vast majority of people.
Here’s the thing. The American people, all of us, cooperated when we were told how disastrous this would be and that we would lose millions of Americans. We did our part. However, the information has changed. The models were wrong. Guidelines were wrong. Public health advice was wrong. I understand this was a new threat, a novel virus, so it was new to everyone.
But we have data now, and this is not the threat we were led to believe it was. The same thing is happening in other countries too before people play the, ” but the whole world is under lockdown..”

Yep, we were all scared and reacted in fashion. But now our healthcare workers are being laid off. People are dying because surgeries are postponed, chemo appointments canceled, etc., etc. We have to change course, and whether you’re Blue, Red or Green, we should all be able to see at this point that the sensible thing to do is to open up everywhere, let people wear masks/gloves/scuba gear if they want, but get back to work so people can provide for themselves, their children and their parents/grandparents that ARE vulnerable. Grandma may not have coronavirus, but starving will sure as heck kill her too.
We’re at a stage where this is ALL politics, and we all know how that goes. If our politicians don’t change course on this, regardless of a political party, we’ll all be in the same breadlines together.
