On Saturday, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson won the award for favorite movie actor at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, and during his acceptance speech, he could not help but poke fun at comedian Kevin Hart, who is a good friend of his.

“Hey, kids all around the world, I want to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for voting for me. And I also want to thank and commend the Kids’ Choice Awards for using this broadcast to raise really critical awareness for child hunger,”  Johnson said in a speech given via video chat, according to Fox News. “So, well done to you guys.”

He then brought up Hart, who was his costar in Jumanji: The Next Level.

“I want you to stay positive; I want you to stay happy; I want you to stay healthy; I want you to go to bed tonight feeling great,” Johnson joked. “Because however old you are, around the world, just know that you are still bigger than Kevin Hart.”

“I love you guys,” he added.

Johnson won the award for his work in both Jumanji and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. Much to his fans’ delight, Johnson teased future sequels to these movies by saying that they will “see more Hobbs [from ‘Fast & Furious] and more Dr. Smolder Bravestone [from ‘Jumanji’] coming soon.”

The awards show was broadcast to raise awareness of child hunger, and Nickelodeon ended up donating $1 million to the No Kid Hungry charity. Yahoo News reported that other celebrities who appeared on the virtual awards show included Millie Bobby Brown, Kristen Bell, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Dove Cameron, and more.

It was a nice distraction from everything going on in the world today as we continue to struggle in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic that has killed over 60,000 Americans at the time of this writing. Johnson has previously been open about what life in quarantine is like with his wife and daughters.

“I have found that the quarantine has had a very positive effect on my relationship and my marriage,” the former wrestler said. “Certainly my relationship with my daughters, who are two… but it’s also had a really positive effect on my relationship with my wife.”
