A lot of people think that CNN is a criminal network and they need to be prosecuted for the constant fake news they deliver on the country.
Well, CNN Reporter Omar Jimenez was arrested and put in handcuffs by Minnesota State Police during a live report on Friday morning. He was covering the ongoing protests and civil unrest due to the killing of George Floyd who died in police custody on Monday.
Jimenez, in a live shot, had started his report to New Day co-anchors John Berman and Alisyn Camerota when police forces lined up behind him. Jimenez could be heard telling police authorities “wherever you want us we will go. We’re getting out of your way when you were advancing through the intersection. Let us know and we’ve got you.”

Where Jimenez messed up is, he started to do his report, when he was interrupted by arresting officers. “I’m sorry? Do you mind telling me why I’m under arrest, sir? Why am I under arrest, sir?”
Co-host Bernam later revealed that the CNN legal team was working on the situation with Omar and his team. He then read an official CNN statement:
“A CNN reporter and his production team were arrested this morning in Minneapolis for doing their jobs. Despite identifying themselves, a clear violation of their First Amendment rights. The authorities in Minnesota, including the governor, must release the three CNN employees immediately.”
