Wow, this had to be a scary moment as the reporter became part of the story – the center of the story.

Atlanta police arrested a woman for stealing a news van with a reporter inside. It happened around 6 a.m. in Midtown Atlanta.

Here’s what happened:

The news crew arrived on the scene of a car accident. When the photographer got out of his van to set up his camera, a 38-year-old woman named Seniqua Lunsford, who involved in the original crash, jumped into the news van and drove away.

CBS reporter Iyani Hughes was still in the back of the van editing video when it all happened. As soon as she noticed what was going on, she shouted for help.

That’s when officers hopped into their cars and followed the stolen van.

According to reports, the reporter inside tried to make the woman stop, and pull over but she refused.

So the pregnant reporter did the smart thing, got into her seat and put her seat belt on – which was smart because the crazy woman crashed the van.

The pregnant reporter was thankfully not hurt.
