As a high-risk person Rush Limbaugh is taking the Coronavirus very seriously – as we all should – however, he’s rightfully questioning the media’s rabid reports of coronavirus hospitalizations amid conflicting videos challenging their narrative.

“One of the things that interests me is the hospitalization numbers,” Limbaugh said during his popular radio show. “Because if you look at Drudge, if you look at the Drive-By Media, you’d believe there is not a single hospital bed in this country.”

Limbaugh went on to say: “You’ve been led to believe that every hospital’s overflowing, that dead bodies are in body bags and refrigerated trucks that are being packed off to landfills. Some of the most incredible reporting I’ve ever seen: It is in New York. It is in Washington, D.C., Maryland, the Eastern Seaboard states, that there’s not a hospital bed around, that the hospitals are overflowing. ”

He added:  “So I wanted to find out what the hospitalization rates were here in Palm Beach County because we’ve been shut down like everybody else has.”

Limbaugh said where he lives in Palm Beach County only 57 people have been hospitalized thus far due to coronavirus.

“Total cases in Palm Beach County: 514,” Rush said. “Total deaths: 11. Hospitalizations: 57. Does that strike you as a large number? Of 514 cases, 57 hospitalizations. That sounds like a small number to me.”

Limbaugh said: “Why aren’t the hospitalization numbers being reported to us? If you go to New York, a field hospital is being built in Central Park. We’ve got the Mercy ship that floated in there. They’re clearly trying to create the impression that we don’t have any hospitals.”

Rush was doing his best to calm down listeners of his who are panicked by many of the media reports that are using the coronavirus crisis for ratings and to attack President Trump.

Recently, CBS News did a report on Coronavirus in New York, specifically NYC hospitals and they used “packed” footage from a hospital in Italy during the segment.

Why?

That’s dishonest fake news and it leads common sense people to believe that the media is trying to scare Americans more than they already are and that’s wrong. That is “weaponizing” an illness to stoke fear.
