Hillary isn’t doing so hot…

She’s about to face off with conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch in an upcoming deposition which was ordered by Federal Judge Royce Lamberth:

“The Court agrees with Judicial Watch — it is time to hear directly from Secretary Clinton,” U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth said in an 11-page ruling on Monday. It is the latest twist in a nearly six-year-long case related to Clinton’s reasons for setting up her illicit private email server and whether she was attempting to avoid Freedom of Information Act requests by doing so.

The judge said Monday that “Judicial Watch correctly points out that many questions regarding her understanding of these obligations remain unanswered.” He listed some remaining questions: “How did she arrive at her belief that her private server emails would be preserved by normal State Department processes for email retention? … Did she realize State was giving ‘no records’ responses to her FOIA requests for emails? … And why did she think that using a private server to conduct State Department business was permissible under the law in the first place?” [Washington Examiner]

Well, Hillary has been fighting tooth and nail to avoid this deposition, but unfortunately for her, all of her requests have been quashed by the State Department.

But the State Department, represented in court by Justice Department lawyers, declined to join Clinton’s legal argument on Friday.

“The government did not seek and thus does not support the extraordinary relief of mandamus due to the unique circumstances of this case,” DOJ appeals lawyer Mark Freeman told the higher court in a seven-page filing. “This is the rare situation in which discovery of a former Cabinet Secretary was not authorized for the impermissible purpose of probing internal government decision-making regarding official policy, but rather to focus on the impact on FOIA compliance of a former official’s unusual decision to use a private email server to systematically conduct large volumes of official business.” [Washington Examiner]

Good!

Hillary needs to answer for her extremely fishy email situation and her absolute failures in handling Benghazi.

Actually, everyone who handled Benghazi so poorly should be at this deposition.

We’re looking at YOU, Susan Rice…
