Liberals trying to blame Trump for coronavirus has backfired big time.

The drug Trump has been touting, hydroxychloroquine, is curing sick American’s all over the country and the mainstream media did nothing but mock Trump for promoting the anti-malaria drug.

As a matter of fact, a Dem Rep from Detroit – a city brutally hit by Coronavirus – is crediting President Trump and the anti-malaria drug for saving her life:

A Democratic state representative from Detroit is crediting hydroxychloroquine — and Republican President Donald Trump who touted the drug — for saving her in her battle with the coronavirus.

State Rep. Karen Whitsett, who learned Monday she has tested positive for COVID-19, said she started taking hydroxychloroquine on March 31, prescribed by her doctor, after both she and her husband sought treatment for a range of symptoms on March 18.

“It was less than two hours” before she started to feel relief, said Whitsett, who had experienced shortness of breath, swollen lymph nodes, and what felt like a sinus infection. She is still experiencing headaches, she said.

Whitsett said she was familiar with “the wonders” of hydroxychloroquine from an earlier bout with Lyme disease, but does not believe she would have thought to ask for it, or her doctor would have prescribed it, had Trump not been touting it as a possible treatment for COVID-19.

“It has a lot to do with the president … bringing it up,” Whitsett said. “He is the only person who has the power to make it a priority.”

Asked whether she thinks Trump may have saved her life, Whitsett said: “Yes, I do,” and “I do thank him for that.” [Detroit Free Press]

And now Fox News medical correspondent Marc Siegel is claiming that the drug saved his 96-year-old father from coronavirus.

“If you’re a doctor, and you take into account the side effects here, and there are some, you may decide that it’s well worth it for particular patients,” Siegel began.

“Tucker, I want to tell you about a 96-year-old man in Florida who said one night, ‘I don’t think I’m going to make it. I feel very weak. The end is coming. I’m coughing, I’m short of breath, I can’t get up from the couch,’” Siegel recounted. “The next day he was on hydroxychloroquine and antibiotics, per his cardiologist, he got up the next day, he was fine.”

“This man is my father, Tucker,” Siegel said.

“Wow,” Carlson responded. “That couldn’t be a clearer and heavier example.” [Washington Examiner]
