Getting a divorce is one of the most devastating experiences that a person can go through, as it can leave people feeling more alone and depressed than ever before. Heather is a 48 year-old woman from Amarillo, Texas who knows this all too well, as she recently got divorced from her husband.
After years of struggling to save her marriage, Heather had let herself go when it came to her appearance.
“Eventually I just kind of gave up for a while,” she admitted.
Tired of having dreary gray hair, and not knowing a thing about makeup, Heather decided to get some help. That’s how she ended up at the salon of Christopher Hopkins, better known as The Makeover Guy!
Christopher has earned himself legions of fans online for his transformative makeovers that give women new leases on life. His favorite clients are women over the age of 45, which is why Heather decided to travel from Texas all the way to his salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota salon just to have a session with him. It was a long journey, but Heather knew she would be in good hands!
When Christopher asked Heather if there was anything she didn’t want to see after her makeover, she just said she didn’t want to see “ugly.” There was never any chance of that happening in Christopher’s salon!
Christopher ended up cutting Heather’s long hair down to her chin and dying it a light auburn color, taking years off of her appearance in the process. He also gave her the perfect amount of makeup to soften her features and leave her looking like a young woman again.
When Heather saw the results of her makeover, she couldn’t believe her eyes!
“I really wanted Christopher to do whatever he thought was best, and I think he kind of nailed it,” Heather said. “I feel sexy!”
Social media users agreed that this was one Christopher’s best makeovers yet!
“Is it just me, or does she now look like a young Ann-Margret?” one social media user commented, with another adding, “I hope the ex got to pay for this, too, through alimony! Poetic justice!”
