House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats this week have furiously defended the Chinese-controlled World Health Organization and have questioned the president’s power to protect America by halting U.S. funding for the WHO.

In a letter to House Democrats on Wednesday Pelosi charged Trump, “dismantled the infrastructure handed to him which was meant to plan for and overcome a pandemic, resulting in unnecessary deaths and economic disaster.” This absurd charge has been thoroughly debunked even by the liberal Washington Post. But Pelosi will keep repeating it.

The president was not happy, “She is totally incompetent & controlled by the Radical Left, a weak and pathetic puppet,” he added, “Come back to Washington and do your job!”

However, Pelosi doubled down on her false claims, “The truth is because of an incompetent reaction to this health crisis, the strong economy handed to Donald Trump is now a disaster, causing the suffering of countless Americans and endangering lives. The truth is a weak person, a poor leader, takes no responsibility.  A weak person blames others.”

Oh, you remember the strong Obama economy, right? And yes, “the disaster” is totally the president’s fault. Sure. It must be interesting to say anything you feel like, knowing full well the mainstream media will protect you, no matter how crazy your charges.

A Democrat House spokesman had this to say over the halt to WHO funding, “The president does not have the unilateral authority to withhold the United States’ assessed contribution to the World Health Organization. Moreover, refusing to fund the WHO is a foolish step that only weakens international tools to fight this pandemic and future global health emergencies.“

The president does indeed have that power, hence the liberal outcry over his action. And the defense of the WHO is their kneejerk reaction because Trump is going after the China-controlled organization to the benefit of the American people. Protect and defend China and oppose Trump and America. Such are Democrat talking points this week and no doubt at least until November.
