It has just been announced that Meghan Markle will be giving her first television interview on Monday since stepping down as a senior member of the British royal family.

Daily Mail reported that Markle, 38, will be appearing on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to promote her new Disneynature documentary Elephant. This was revealed in an ABC ad that stated, “On GMA Monday, Meghan Markle with an exclusive first look at the Disney documentary Elephant.”

Markle acts as a narrator for Elephant, a movie that tells the story of a family of elephants migrating across Africa. This is her first Hollywood role since she left the royal family with her husband Prince Harry, who she has since moved back to her hometown of Los Angeles, California with.

This comes after it was rumored that Meghan had been offered over one million dollars to give a tell-all interview about her time in the royal family, something she is said to be eager to do. A source close to Meghan said that she would like to “allow cameras to film their home and family life, and Harry is said to be giving ‘serious consideration’ to the proposal.”

“Meghan wants to donate all the money to charity – probably the NHS after the incredible efforts of all the frontline workers,” the source added. “When she was part of the Royal Family, it would have been unthinkable for her to do a solo interview with anyone about her life and how being a princess has changed her world. But now she’s very much her own boss and it has put her under pressure feeling that the public have lost their ‘love’ for her and Harry after they took the big step of going on their own.”

Royal expert Neil Sean, however, does not think a juicy tell-all interview is on the horizon.

“Reports that Meghan is mulling over a million-plus deal to ‘reveal all’ on camera in a chat with Oprah or Ellen are also greatly exaggerated simply because part of the exit deal is that neither Harry or Meghan are allowed to discuss the roles they played within the U.K. royal family,” he said.
