Like millions of other Americans, Marie Osmond is currently in quarantine in her Utah home with her family due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the 60 year-old host of “The Talk” is opening up about what life in social isolation is really like for her, making it clear that she’s approaching it with her typical positive attitude.

“Some of the best advice I ever received is a message that feels very appropriate in this moment. It came from my father, who always used to tell us, ‘The most important work you will ever do is within the walls of your own home,'” Osmond told Digital Journal. “I love what I do and I am so grateful that I’m able to continue working safely from home, but it’s the work that I put into myself and into my beautiful family that will always bring me the most joy. That feels especially true right now.”

Osmond, who has been working in show business since she was a small child, said she would not change a thing.

“I feel so grateful that ever since I was a young girl, I have been able to do what I love: performing and connecting with people,” she said. “I’ve had so many incredible opportunities that have brought me to where I am today.”

The former Las Vegas singer said that she is lucky enough to have NutriSystem providing healthy meals for her.

“Everyone knows how much I love the brand,” Osmond said. “I’ve worked with them for 14 years and not only do I know the program works, but I also believe in the company and I know they care. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, people across America are turning to Nutrisystem because they safely deliver your favorite foods made healthier right to your door. It’s convenient home-delivery of delicious meals and snacks, perfectly portioned to help you be healthy and stay on track.”

Osmond concluded by saying that she has been taking to Instagram often to offer messages of hope to her fans.

“I’ve been sharing a lot of messages of hope on my social media that I’ve found to be so inspiring and so helpful during this time. I think it’s very important to reach out to people and let them know that they’re not alone in this,” she said. “The other day we were speaking about how important it is to share our light with others and I recalled this beautiful quote: ‘faith is seeing the light with your heart when all your eyes see is darkness.'”
