We can’t really say that we’re shocked by anything Dax Shepard does anymore. Not that he’s crazy, but the “Without a Paddle” star always has us on the edge of our seats.

After recently injuring his arm, Shepard chose to remove pins from his hand while his wife, Kristen Bell, recorded the whole thing.

Bell shared the video of Dax to Instagram and we couldn’t not watch it.

In the clip, Shepard was on the phone with his doctor as he reached into his cast and removed a clean pin.

“Alright, I’m going to commence the procedure,” Shepard said in the video. “Oh, yep, that feels weird.”

This is one of those cringe-worthy things that you don’t want to see, but you cant look away.

Like some sort of magic trick, Shepard removed the full pin from his hand. You can hear him cheering and Kristen gasping behind the camera.

“It’s out,” he told the doctor. “It’s out, there’s no blood spurting anywhere, ” Dax joked, I’m coming for your job, doctor. I’m going to add pin removal to my resume now.”

Bell shared the video on Friday, captioning the post, “We’re on day ‘I can do my own surgery’ of quarantine.”
