Kentucky state Attorney General Daniel Cameron, an up and coming GOP national star, told The Ingraham Angle that Democrat Governor Andy Beshear cannot restrict state residents from traveling across state lines.

“Here in Kentucky, the health care workers, the first responders all have a unique challenge in confronting this pandemic, but in the attorney general’s office we also have a responsibility to defend vigorously the Constitution,” said Cameron.

“So, it (the AG’s lawsuit against the travel regulations) strikes at the arbitrary nature of the restrictions,” Cameron said. “That is why we are in court fighting against it — not because we want to score any particular points — but [because] it is the right thing to do as it relates to the Constitution.”

The conflict between the restrictive nature of virus edicts and liberty is a subject in play all over the nation. On Thursday armed citizens protested the assumption of authoritarian powers by Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Dozens of armed citizens gathered inside Michigan’s capitol building to voice their opposition to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home order. It is lawful to carry firearms in the capitol area.

“I love freedom,” said one protester. “In America, we should be free. Don’t let them try to protect us from ourselves.”

Screaming meemie Democrat state Senator Dayna Polehanki said, “Directly above me, men with rifles yelling at us. Some of my colleagues who own bullet proof vests are wearing them. I have never appreciated our Sergeants-at-Arms more than today,” she posted on Twitter.

So, all she saw were free men following the law and expressing free speech. This alarmed her.

“Members of the Michigan House of Representatives must defend the Legislature’s role as the sole lawmaking body and as a co-equal branch of government in Michigan’s constitutional system,” stated the resolution being debated in the state legislature to strip Whitmer of some of her powers. It passed.

Michigan congresscretin Rashida Tlaib had a ridiculous comment on the situation, “Black people get executed by police for just existing, while white people dressed like militia members carrying assault weapons are allowed to threaten State Legislators and staff. Our gun laws are so broken.”

No, our mental health laws are broken, given that Tlaib is allowed to wander the streets unrestrained.
