On Thursday’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” host Joy Behar came unglued once again over reports that Americans in Michigan have launched protests against their Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home orders as well as other coronavirus guidelines.

While discussing the protesters on “The View,” Behar made it clear that she had no sympathy for them, going so far as to say that they should give up the right to medical treatment should they get COVID-19.

“Well, I’d like to ask them if they’re willing to sign away their right to treatment if and when they get infected,” Behar exclaimed. “Are you gonna say, ‘OK, I don’t need a ventilator because I thought I should go out and defy the governor’s order?”

Hundreds of protesters had gathered the day before outside Michigan’s capitol building to protest against Whitmer’s stay-at-home orders, which are some of the strictest in the nation. The protesters pointed out that there were counties in Michigan that were placed on lockdown despite not having any coronavirus cases, while others said that the social distancing guidelines had gone way too far.

“Citizens are frankly tired of being treated like babies. As adults, we now know what needs to be done to stay safe,” said Marian Sheridan, a co-founder of the Michigan Conservative Coalition.

Behar, however, has no problem with adults being told how to live their lives by the government. She continued her meltdown by expressing concerns about infected protesters seeking treatment elsewhere.

“OK, and I’d like to know if people in states that are following the guidelines, like people like us in New York, can be sure that these people don’t come here,” she said. “I understand the fact that they’re upset they can’t get their veggies. But hello, we’re talking about this disease being way more infecting and worse than they even thought.”

Behar is once again showing how ignorant she is as well as why she doesn’t deserve a nationally televised platform to spew her ridiculously biased opinions. As Americans, we all have the right to protest against the government. She never seems to have a problem with it when liberals are doing things like blocking traffic to protest against Donald Trump, yet as soon as conservatives try to make their voices be heard, she completely loses her mind.

It’s time for ABC to put Behar out of her misery and fire her. She’s embarrassing herself at this point, and the rest of us are sick of hearing the nonsense coming out of her mouth.
