Hydroxychloroquine is an anti-inflammatory drug not probable as a cure for COVID-19. Still, it might mitigate the symptoms in some people long enough for their bodies to produce antibodies, or it could just be having a placebo effect.

Either way, it is a very safe drug with minimal risk of harmful side effects. The first order of treatment by doctors in the Hippocratic oath is not to harm.

There is NO evidence that this treatment is harming anybody, and as there is no cure right now for this disease, the media should stay out of the way of letting doctors do what is best for their patients.

Instead of giving us enough information regarding the case studies performed by the doctors who have used it. We get a lot of information that only talks about how harmful the side effects might be.

I can guarantee 100% that every media source trying to downplay positive results from Hydroxychloroquine will be screaming for their doctor to prescribe it to them if they begin feeling Coronavirus type symptoms.

From what I have read regarding the doctors who have tried it on patients with mild symptoms is that is has reduced the pain and symptoms that they felt. To me, that is a lot more promising than to allow the patient to suffer in pain until you go on a ventilator or die.

The media makes it sound like you can purchase the drug off the shelf; you can’t. The drug has to be prescribed to you by a doctor and given under doctors’ care. I feel it should be a doctor’s option and more testing done until a vaccine can be found.

More people that recover are more beneficial than more patients being bedridden or dying.

There are medical experts in viral illnesses worldwide and broadly respected in the health professionals who have conducted extensive use of Hydroxychloroquine in treating the symptoms of COVID-19.

NONE of them claim that this drug is a cure. Still, ALL have experienced clinical results that have convinced them that the drug (developed to treat malaria victims) contributes to consistently relieving COVID-19 symptoms. Additionally, populations in malaria-affected areas (where this drug has been widely prescribed) experience unusually low infection from coved-19. The medical experts who work directly with COVID-19 patients are the ones touting this drug, NOT TRUMP.

Pres. Trump is merely a messenger, not a promoter. If the name “Obama” were to replace “Trump,” the media would be 100% on board with the medical professionals who are prescribing this treatment. We have a strong partisan, far left-leaning media who dò not serve the best interests of the American public.

This politicization of Hydroxychloroquine is perhaps their lowest effort to discredit a very good President.

Pres. Trump has repeatedly said he’s not a doctor. He’s heard many good reports about the drug’s use. I would much rather hear that from him than for him to say there’s no hope. The drug, in conjunction with azithromycin and zinc, is highly successful, as reported by many different doctors in different countries.

Is it 100%? No, but it’s working for many. The CDC bowed to pressure from the media to change what they had online before.

I love watching liberal “journalists” pretend to be unbiased. They really are only fooling the Democrat drones who soak it all up with glee. Trump isn’t perfect, but he’s doing a good job. Before this black swan event that no one thought would get to this point (including the same liberal media and the Democrats, read what they were writing and saying back in January through early March), Trump was presiding over a roaring economy with unemployment numbers unseen in decades.

This pandemic will be solved, and I’m confident that it will be Trump who uses his business dealing background to right the ship.

It’ll be a faster turn-around than anything any lifelong bureaucrat or politician could accomplish. We will get through this. Yes, the 2016 election was the most important one of our lifetimes, and thankfully, American voters made the right choice.
