Hollywood has-been actress Ellen Barkin came unhinged on Wednesday, when she had a full meltdown against President Donald Trump on her Twitter page.

Barkin blasted President Trump for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, saying the death toll of the illness is higher than the death tolls that occurred during the presidencies of John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. She even went so far as to compare Trump to Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.

“Trump is responsible for more deaths than Kennedy Johnson and Nixon,” Barkin tweeted. “He will go down in history as the Stalin of incompetence and greed.”

Barkin seems to be referring to the Vietnam War, which had over 58,000 U.S. casualties, according to Fox News. At the time of this writing, there have been a reported 45,950 American deaths due to coronavirus, which has killed over 182,004 in 185 countries around the world.

Despite the fact that this is clearly a global virus rather than something that is Trump’s fault, Barkin is not the first Hollywood star to blame him for the pandemic. Last week, actress Bette Midler tweeted that Trump has “30,000 corpses” on his hands. “Every single day you cause death, destruction, and untold suffering. Four more years of your incompetence and we won’t have a country left!” she added.

The singer Cher has also repeatedly used coronavirus to attack Trump, claiming last week that Republicans are turning their heads while he kills Americans.

Given the fact that this virus originated in China and has impacted virtually every country, it is of course ridiculous to blame it all on Trump. This kind of logic does not matter to liberals, however, as they will use any excuse they can to satisfy their Trump Derangement Syndrome by attacking the president. Sad!
