A few weeks ago, we reported that Duane “Dog The Bounty Hunter” Chapman had revealed that he hopes to marry his new girlfriend Francie Frane less than a year after his beloved wife Beth passed away at the age of 51 following a battle with cancer. Now, Frane has broken her silence to say that there is no way that she can ever “replace” the iconic Beth.
The Blast reported that Frane finally made her relationship with Dog official by posting a photo of the couple on Instagram.
“Thank You All So Much for all the encouraging comments, Dog & I appreciate it so much,” she wrote on the social media site. “We know God brought us together and have no doubts about that AT ALL !!”

Frane went on to say that while she and Dog know that neither of them can ever “replace” their late spouses, they do believe that God brought them together. Frane lost her husband around the same time that Dog lost Beth, and she explained that they aren’t trying to replace their spouses “and we don’t want to.”
“What we do know is that God has brought two people who walked a treacherous road together and shown us LOVE is possible again,” she wrote.

Dog’s daughter Lyssa, who fully supports the relationship, explained how losing both of their spouses brought her father and Frane together.
“They both lost their spouses to cancer, so they know what it’s like to go through that and they are helping each other through it,” Lyssa told The Sun. “But at the same time, they are being very respectful of each other’s grieving process.”
“She is a good woman for my dad,” she added.
Dog has also been open about how much Frane has helped him through this difficult time.

“I know that when I start to feel bad about Beth and it’s overwhelming, Francie seems to show up and that helps the kids,” Dog said. “And I feel that Beth expects her to show up to take care of me. And Bob, Francie’s late husband, expects me to be a man and a gentleman and so I am.”
“It’s a very real love that we are developing with each other,” he added. “Both of us are allowed to talk about our spouses that are in Heaven — it’s not like we’re afraid to mention it or anything like that. We console each other but we also know that we have a responsibility and that is to do this right. There are a lot of people watching us.”
