Will the handshake go the way of powdered wigs?
During a meeting on the coronavirus spreading across Europe, German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer declined to shake Prime Minister Angela Merkel’s hand in front of cameras.
Merkel was arriving at the table and attempted to shake Seehofer’s hand, and he waved her off.

Merkel reacted awkwardly as the room burst into laughs, but later said, “That was the right thing to do.”
DW reports, as of Sunday, there were 129 cases of COVID-19 in the country.
