In a very rare move, Chief Justice Roberts has come out and condemned Senator Chuck Schumer for threatening Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh over an upcoming vote on abortion.
Schumer was speaking outside of the SCOTUS when he made the outrageous threats. Schumer said:“I want to tell you Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Gorsuch: You have unleashed a whirlwind, and you will pay the price.”

Justice Roberts issued a scathing statement addressing Schumer’s abuse of power and obstruction of justice saying: “Justices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous. ”
