Want to use plastic straws? Too bad.

Don’t want to buy health insurance? Too bad.

Want to buy a Big Gulp? Too bad.

Want to be able to flush your toilets with a reasonable amount of water? Too bad.

The goal of every Democrat politician in America is to control your life with their chosen policies because they are more moral than you are and know best about things. They really “care” about people. Constitution be damned, they will make you submit to their will.

Their new assault on your freedoms comes from New York (how surprising). Lawmakers in Suffolk County wants to stop you from smoking in your own home. They don’t want to allow you to smoke in your apartment, condo or multi-family dwelling. But what if you own that condo or multi-family dwelling? Doesn’t matter.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

When asked if the proposed legislation is going too far, Democrat Legislator Sam Gonzalez said, “It’s not going too far. We’re heading in that direction anyway. We can’t smoke in restaurants. We can’t smoke in buildings. We can’t smoke inside the theaters. There are parks, there are beaches that you can’t smoke in. We are headed there.”

Suffolk County is going to have public hearings about this later this month. How democratic of them. People need to show up and give them Hell – not only to defend their freedoms but also to put Gonzalez and the rest of them on notice that they will be recalled or voted out if they continue with their nonsense.

Seriously people…As a non-smoker, I implore you to defend yourself from this tyranny. What did our ancestors fight for? The Founders gave you plenty of documents to protect yourself. And the best place to quash this stuff is to do it locally and make sure the Democrats know their craziness won’t be accepted.

Silence is not golden. It’s dangerous.

Author C.J. Redwine says, “Silent acquiescence in the face of tyranny is no better than outright agreement.”

How true.
