What a dramatic band harrowing moment captured on CC TV during an armed robbery attempt at a “Raising Canes”chicken restaurant in Kentucky.
It all unfolded when a pair of married off-duty police officers who were out on a date night stopped a would-be armed man from robbing the fried chicken restaurant.
The dramatic CCTV footage captured Detective Chase McKeown and Officer Nicole McKeown – a married couple – drawing their weapons and confronting the masked gunman in the Raising Cane’s branch in Louisville, Kentucky.
The dynamic duo scared the robber, who fled out the doors, with the cops chasing after him.
He was later arrested with the help of local officers.
That bad guy really picked the wrong place and the wrong time to go robbing, right?
The couple are officers with the Elizabethtown Police Department which happens to be about 50 miles south of Louisville.
They were enjoying their weekly date night when the bad guy entered the restaurant wearing a surgical face mask.

This is further proof that “good guys with guns” are the only real and logical deterrent to bad guys.
If it wasn’t for this couple having their weapons on them at that moment, God only knows what could have happened.
Besides a robbery, somebody could have very easily gotten killed as well.
