The sham impeachment is officially over.
Now, we can move on and focus on 2020.

However, before putting this totally behind us Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell held a press conference where he came clean on the Dems “plot.”
McConnell said that he knew all along that the Dems were cooking something up in order to gain some control over the Senate trial.
McConnell said that he knew early on that Dems hatched a plot to push for witnesses.

He says the moment the papers came over that he knew it would be all about “witnesses.”
The Dems strategy was to get the sham impeachment locked down in the House quickly and then begin the real plotting in the Senate.
But he says their plot wasn’t really about President Trump, it was about trying to take the Senate and bog down his guys and make them second guess their votes.
They thought if they could sew enough doubt, they could flip more Senators.

But Mitch said he knew what they were doing.

As we all know from the Kavanaugh stunt, the Dems will do anything to try and win.
These are power-hungry people who will stop at nothing. Thankfully, they’re led by a batty old kook and Mitch is a shrewd politician.
