Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Dems are furious over a meme that President Trump shared mocking her SOTU “speech shredding” stunt.
Pelosi and company are now demanding that Facebook and Twitter censor the video because it’s “offensive.”

Turning Point USA created the meme that uses the infamous clip of the House speaker ripping up President Trump’s State of the Union address with clips of the president paying tribute to Americans who were guests at the address, including the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen.
As of right now, the video has over 5 million views.

Democrats quickly began complaining that the video is “misleading” and must be removed from all social media platforms.
Can you believe this censoring? It’s ridiculous.
“Pelosi’s office has asked both Twitter and Facebook to take down the video,” The Hill reported after receiving confirmation from the speaker’s deputy chief of staff, Drew Hammill.

But there appears to be a grave problem with the Democrats’ arguments …
While it’s true Pelosi ripped up her copy of the president’s SOTU address after he concluded speaking — and not, in fact, as he was paying tribute to people such as 100-year-old Tuskegee Airman Charles McGee — the fact remains that the speaker and her colleagues have repeatedly dismissed the president’s entire address as a “pack of lies.”
“I’m a speed reader, so … I went like this through the speech. So I knew that it was a pack of lies. I knew it was a pack of lies, but I thought, ‘Well, let’s see how it goes,’” she said during her grievance-filled weekly press conference Thursday.
“About a quarter through it I thought, ‘You know — he’s selling a bill of goods like a snake oil salesman. We cannot let this stand.’ So, somewhere along the way realizing what was coming, I started to stack my papers in a way that were tear-able.” [Bizpacreview]
I guess Democrats don’t understand what a “video meme” is, but the American people do.
And what Pelosi did when she ripped up that speech was she also ripped up the stories of these brave Americans.
She says she’s proud of what she did, so she needs to own it…all of it.
