Lawmakers Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler, Chuck Schumer, and Adam Schiff hate Pres. Trump so much that they started to believe all of the hearsay, innuendo, and outright lies they pushed toward the American people.
They felt they were going to tilt the system of justice so that Pres. Trump couldn’t fight back, and I believe if they could have kept this behind closed doors, they might have gotten away with it, but the old saying about “light being the best disinfectant” works in this situation.
Now that this impeachment has blown up in their faces and Pres. Trump will be acquitted, by sticking to their evil script, they will try to gin up another tall tale and try to sell it as fact. They might even try to retry this one; the double constitutional jeopardy is damned.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s comments about how Trump is “impeached forever” is her attempt to insulate and armor herself against the onslaught of opposition she will face in the next Congress. She is done when it comes to leadership in the Party now that impeachment has failed.
Pelosi seems to think that just because Trump was impeached, that will protect her from the rage of the Progressives who wanted him removed and view anything less than that as an abject failure. There can be no one on the far Left who admires the work done by Pelosi, Schiff, and Nadler on impeachment.
There is no telling what the Democrat Party will resemble this fall in the aftermath of massive landslide reelection of Donald Trump. We shall have to see who is left standing once the shooting from the circular firing squad is finally over.
After all, is said and done, we still don’t know fully why the Democrat party decided to go against all tradition in accepting the results of an election and moving forward, but instead launched this unprecedented attempt to remove a duly elected president starting from the very day he was elected by any means possible.
Of course, they had no evidence of wrong-doing at first, but they always had the hope of finding something, anything that could be used as an excuse. Probably they felt that Trump was like them with tons of skeletons hiding in his closet, but, alas, after more than three years of looking, they could not find any. Probably they felt they had no choice to do this, and Hillary Clinton’s prophetic words that “if this so-and-so wins, we all hang” may have been truthful.

All the corruption, all the quid pro quo, and all kickback schemes to family members that we see with Joe Biden probably pervades the entire Democrat party establishment. They are all equally corrupt, and while there are undoubtedly many worse things they were involved with, this will be enough as a start to bring them all down.
Thanks to the 51 senators who realized that had they voted to let John Bolton waste their time with meaningless bee ess, then as his star faded another disgruntled former staffer would have something bogus leaked to the New York Times and the process to add that person to the witness list would start anew. On and on, it would go.
Additional witnesses would fail to perform their assigned task to take out Pres. Trump (each one worse than the previous — see Kavanaugh nomination process for details), and the Senate would still be listening to the dreck after Labor Day.
Something awful needs to happen to all the house managers, but I’ll settle for Schiff being whirled in an unflushed toilet in the basement of the House.
Democrats will double down on their failed impeachment efforts by blaming Republican Senators of “covering up” for Trump. They are relentless in their attacks and always, always, still play offense, never a defense.
If you eat well in Washington, you’re a democrat. If you sleep well in Washington, you’re a republican.
