So you probably laughed when you heard that the Democrats did a coin flip in Iowa when the caucus voting resulted in a tie and they had to decide who to award the delegates to.

Get ready to laugh again.

According to the Nevada Democratic Party’s directions for precinct chairs and documented under “caucus math” on their website, in the event of a circumstance where two or more presidential preference groups are tied for the loss or gain of a delegate, groups must each draw a single card from a deck of cards to break the tie.

They will participate in WAR. Literally. The card game of war.

The Nevada State Democrat Party will be providing unopened decks of cards to all precinct locations.

(How generous. Although I’m a little worried if one of the precinct sites cannot find the deck of cards. There could be complete chaos!)

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

By completing the poll, you agree to receive emails from SteveGruber.com, occasional offers from our partners and that you've read and agree to our privacy policy and legal statement.

Cards are to be shuffled by the Precinct Chair or Site Lead at least seven times before using them. All extra cards, jokers and directional cards, shall be removed.

(If the cards are shuffled six times or eight times, are the results disqualified?)

In evaluating the high cards of the same rank, i.e. drawing two of the same card like two Aces or two Jacks, the card suit will control the outcome from highest to lowest in this order: spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs.

This is the Nevada State Democratic Party’s commitment to a fair and transparent caucus process.

Using a deck of cards as the tiebreaker game of chance is the Nevada State Democratic Party’s precedent for deciding caucus ties, set in 2008.

In this epic battle of WAR, who will emerge victorious?

Probably Donald Trump again.

If you didn’t already think that the Democrat party was a joke, this story isn’t going to help them appear to be any more legitimate. And once again, when it comes to the Democrats, your vote doesn’t actually matter.
