President Trump defied gravity today and turned a deaf ear to the ongoing impeachment trial in the United States Senate to focus on bigger and more important goals. This time, unswayed by the constant chorus of negative attacks from Democrats and their media friends, Trump unveiled a plan to create a new nation of Palestine and bring peace to the Middle East once and for all.

With Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his side Trump triumphantly told the packed room that he will proudly support both Israel and Palestine as sovereign and independent nations.

The bold proposal includes a tunnel between Gaza and The West Bank and The President said under his plan no Israeli’s or Palestinian’s will be forced to leave their homes.

It is impressive that through the fog of impeachment, The President is able to deliver on such a major foreign policy initiative. Peace in the Middle East has eluded every administration since Israel was created. One has to wonder however if Trump will finally succeed where all others have come up short.

I also am curious how members of Congress like Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, who should embrace this effort, will more than likely savage the ideas put forward. It is a shame that no matter how much good this President is able to put forth- there are those among us that refuse to applaud anything he does.

That is not the case in The Middle East where in just a few weeks time, President Trump eliminated the terrorist Iranian General behind killing thousands of people and put forth a serious 80-page plan to put that kind of violence in the past.
There are already statues and other symbols in Israel to honor Donald Trump and I would have to believe there will be in Palestine as well if this peace plan is followed through to its conclusion.

Do you think President Trump is doing a good job?
