Serbs protested across the Balkans in the last few weeks against a new law in Montenegro which they say will allow for the seizure of Serbian Orthodox Church property, including churches and monasteries, in the tiny former part of Yugoslavia.
In late December a large crowd gathered in front of the embassy of Montenegro in Belgrade.

This week hundreds of Serbs marched in Gracanica, a small Serb-populated municipality in Kosovo.
