One of my favorite political blogs is American Thinker.
They always put out such good stuff. The type of stuff that really makes you think.
And they did not disappoint with their latest piece on Nancy Pelosi, who, as they so artfully put it is “asleep at the wheel.”
She really is snoozing away.

As I have stated on countless occasions, Pelosi was backed into a corner when it came to impeachment. She was damned if she did and damned if she didn’t.
Had she decided to save her party from a bloodbath at the ballot box and not impeach President Trump, her job would have likely been on the chopping block.
The Squad is gunning for all the old farts so they can push their socialism and hardline lefty agenda like the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, open borders and freebies for every criminal from here to Timbuktu.
The Squad is waiting in the wings to primary anyone who stands in their way and Pelosi was a major roadblock who they would have happily targeted…But she may have saved her skin by bending the knee and impeaching Orange Man Bad.
Who knows though, thus far the impeachment has been a carnival of horrors, so they may still put her out of her misery.
However, even though Pelosi’s done the dirty deed, she’s still facing a bloodbath at the polls – but at least now she can plug part of the gaping hole with her articles of impeachment.
She’ll use that card later after Trump wins reelection to claim President Trump is “illegitimate” and can’t appoint Amy Coney Barret to fill RBG’s notorious seat because he was impeached, bla bla bla.
Nancy Pelosi is a smart woman, or so we’ve been told. Shrewd, calculating, and ruthless are words also used to describe the current Speaker of the House. But for those of us paying attention, it’s become apparent she’s asleep at wheel. Consumed by the impeachment scam, hoping to damage the Trump brand beyond all repair; since beating him at the ballot box in November will be a near to impossible task, Pelosi is either ignoring the chaos brewing in her own party or she simply doesn’t care. There’s a perfect storm bearing down on the Democrats not limited to a growing contingent of unrelenting Bernie Sanders supporters, the Social Justice political action group’s recent auditions for congressional House seats, and the likelihood that Hillary Clinton will enter the 2020 Presidential race, exploiting a very weak slate of potential nominees.
The Democrats have no chance of winning back the White House with Bernie Sanders as their nominee for president, plain and simple. Sanders’ socialist ideology doesn’t resonate with a majority of Americans. And yet, Bernie’s poll numbers are right up there with Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren. I loathe the polls as a true gauge of how Democrats may choose to vote in November, but the fact that he has numbers in the double digits ought to worry the Democrat leadership. Perhaps it does and perhaps it doesn’t — who knows? They’re certainly keeping the cards close to their chest, focusing all their efforts on impeachment theatrics at the Senate trial. And while the sometimes Democrat front-runner Joe Biden continues to stumble, stutter, and can’t seem to keep track of where he is at any given moment on the campaign trail, the Sanders’ campaign machine marches on. It’s no surprise that Hillary Clinton took aim and fired off a salvo of disparaging remarks against Sanders; she most likely concluded Bernie is a force to be reckoned with this time around, and perhaps he won’t be easily placated with a new vacation home in trade for stepping aside. Nor will his supporters, who have vowed to upend the DNC convention should Sanders not be the nominee, but that isn’t the only fly in the House Speaker’s ointment. [American Thinker]
The author makes a great point….while Pelosi is focused on this impeachment sham her party is now a steam-locomotive barreling towards a cliff – and guess who is the conductor of the train?
Hillary.
Hillary Clinton is poised to drive that train right off the edge by likely entering the 2020 race at the DNC convention – which by all accounts has about an 80 percent chance of being brokered unless something drastically changes.
If the brokered convention happens, Hillary can waddle in and make her case to the delegates and begin “round 3” to stake her claim on that “throne” she was supposedly “born” to sit on.
But there’s a big bad villain in Hillary’s fairytale, isn’t there?
Yes….and his name is Bernie…we’ve read this story before, haven’t we?
Indeed…the stars have once again aligned and we’re looking at the possibility of an almost an exact repeat of 2016 with Bernie supporters burning down the entire DNC and dancing in the ashes while President Trump saunters into the White House.
So, yes…someone better wake up Nancy before every last bit of sh*t hits the proverbial fan.
