Mitt Romney has really become an absolute thorn in the side for the GOP.

He’s still holding a grudge for not becoming president after running eight billion times and his only goal in life now seems to be opposing Trump in any way possible.

His recent attempt to undermine the president was by going against the majority of the GOP by signally that he will vote to hear from witnesses in Trump’s impeachment trial, including John Bolton.

Mike Huckabee is just as annoyed as the rest of us and he unleashed on Romney during an interview on The Todd Starnes Show, where he brilliantly suggested that maybe the Utah senator should’ve won in 2012.

That way we could impeach him now!

“What is it that he wants out of this,” Huckabee asked Starnes. “Does he want to be able to sit down at the table with Morning Joe and be celebrated and beloved by that crowd?”

Huckabee said it’s too bad that Romney had not been elected president in 2012.

“It would’ve been good that he became president just so he could be impeached,” the former governor said.

“This is so disappointing, not surprising, disappointing that Mitt Romney feels like he’s got to now be the contrarian. He wants to be the fly in the ointment – the guy who sides with the Democrats and their absolutely sloppy and horrible treatment of this elected president.” [Todd Starnes]

Well said, Huckabee!

If only we had a time machine to go back and make this happen!
