White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham revealed that when President Trump took over the White House, his staff found nasty notes from Obama staffers.

Grisham shared the story while she was speaking to WHKT-AM. She said, “we came into the White House — I’ll tell you something, every office was filled with Obama books. And we had notes left behind that said, ‘You will fail,’ ‘You aren’t going to make it.’ And in the press office, there was a big note taped to a door that said, ‘You will fail'”

Disgraced liar Susan Rice claims that never happened. She took to Twitter where she called what Grisham said a “bald-faced lie.”

However, Daily Mail reporter David Martosko said that he spoke with four former Trump officials who were there on day one and they all confirmed Grisham’s story.

One former Trump aide told Martosko, “It was a mess that first week. Yeah, there were mean notes left in odd places. One in a deputy press secretary’s office, one inside a desk drawer in upper press, another on a bathroom mirror. They were all about how we were doomed for failure.”

“They were trolling us from the moment we got there,” another former Trump staffer recalled to Martosko. “It was definitely just ridiculous. We were trying to find the bathroom, and we get these notes saying, ‘You will fail,’ and ‘You’re not going to make it.'” [The Blaze]

Of course, the fake news media threw a fit over Grisham’s claims and went on a seek and destroy mission to prove her wrong. Susan Rice and Michelle Obama’s former press secretary said they left kind notes, offering support and praise. Somehow those two people saying this justified the media in calling Grisham a liar.

She fought back against the rabid media and Rice, claiming not *everyone* left a nasty note, only some people did.

I guess the media and Susan Rice need things spelled out for them like two-year-olds.

Several White House reporters, including Phillip, also voiced skepticism about Grisham’s comment, noting that Grisham offered no evidence to support her claim.

“Over the past 2.5 years I’ve heard no end of complaints from Trump officials about their Obama predecessors but never has this remarkable detail been mentioned,” the Axios reporter Jonathan Swan tweeted. “Would love to see a copy of these ‘you will fail’ notes.”

Grisham later told NBC News that nasty notes were left only in the White House Press Office.

“I certainly wasn’t implying every office had that issue,” Grisham said. “In fact, I had a lovely note left for me in the East Wing, and I tracked the woman down and thanked her. I was talking specifically about our experience in the lower press office — nowhere else. I don’t know why everyone is so sensitive!” [Business Insider]

After the past three years of the foam-at-the-mouth resistance, is it really such a stretch to believe that some of Obama’s bitter and hateful staffers left nasty notes?

Uh, I think not.
