Two— Investors will be paying close attention when the Labor Department releases its March jobs report today, the first since the coronavirus pandemic hit the U.S. in earnest. The new data comes one day after the government reported that first-time unemployment claims doubled to 6.6 million from last week’s record-setting 3.3 million

 

 

And number one—More than 1.5 million Michigan students will not return to K-12 school buildings the rest of the academic year and instead will learn remotely, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer ordered Thursday. Districts will create distance learning programs, with flexibility on how they do so — whether is is online or with printed materials sent to homes or some other option.
