Dr. Roger D. Klein, MD, JD is a clinical pathologist with subspecialty training in medical microbiology and board-certification in molecular diagnostics (molecular genetic pathology). He directs the types of clinical laboratories that would make the diagnosis of Coronavirus. While a pathology resident at Yale in 2003, he saw the first suspected SARS case in Connecticut.
