—Here are 3 big things you need to know—
One — Early voting is breaking records across the U.S. More than 13-point-eight million Americans in 44 states have cast early ballots ahead of the November 8th midterm elections. As of Thursday, Florida voters have cast the most early ballots with one-point-nine million already voting.
Two— The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will consider naming an interim president as a special meeting today. President Samuel Stanley submitted his resignation on October 13, effective within 90 days, after the trustees began investigating his handling and certification of Title IX reports and the forced resignation of the business school dean.
And number three— A student at the University of Kentucky is among at least 150 people who died in a deadly stampede in South Korea’s capital city over the weekend. On Sunday, the school confirmed Anne Gieske was one of two Americans killed in the crowd crush. The incident occurred Saturday night during Halloween festivities in Seoul, where an investigating is ongoing.
